We need you

We are seeking a subject-matter expert who has intimate familiarity with Common Core Integrated Math curriculum, and who can help us shape and review digital content for a large school district in Southern California. This school district is digitizing all of their existing learning content for high-school aged students, and our gifted instructional designers need your help to ensure that we are addressing all relevant content thoroughly and accurately. The immediate need is for Integrated Math I (freshman-level), but we will also have a future need for an Integrated Math II, III, and IV SME as well.

Requirements

  • Work intensively, at intervals, with an instructional designer as the primary subject-matter expert in designing and delivering a fully online Integrated Math course aligned with Common Core Standards.
  • Have experience teaching math to high-school aged learners, preferably both in person and online
  • Be comfortable working in an ambiguous environment
  • Strong writing and editing skills to provide support in the writing of curriculum
  • A strong communicator, able to interact with both clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Able to frequently meet onsite in Oxnard, California or virtually through video conferencing
